All teachers of German are welcome to attend our Meet-and-Greet. Dr. Mark Himmelein, Ohio AATG web master, will present his experiences at the 40th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall. Rounding out our session will be the chapter business meeting.

AATG OHIO FALL CONFERENCE 2019

The AATG Ohio Chapter met for its fall 2019 convocation in the Kreider room on the campus of Bluffton University. Dr. Kevin Richards of The Ohio State University presented: Selling German: Careers, Internships, and Opportunities for Students of German. 

There followed a tour auf Deutsch of GROB Systems, Inc., based in Mindelheim, led by Stefan Lehle, Electrical Training Instructor. Lunch buffet was provided by Bluffton University’s Marbeck Center. 

Steady rain did not dampen spirits as our group enjoyed docent tours of the Swiss Community and Historical Homestead near Bluffton. The chapter business meeting capped the day.
