A Look Toward Next Year

The Ohio Classical Conference’s annual meeting for the 2014-2014 school year will be held October 3-4, 2014, in Cleveland, Ohio. The OCC has issued a call for papers for any and all aspects of the Classical World, especially presentations that deal with the pedagogical issues which arise in the Latin and Greek classrooms of today, from elementary school to graduate school. Students of the Ohio Junior Classical League are preparing for National Junior Classical League Convention on the campus of Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. The Ohio delegation looks again to field strong teams in Certamen and to perform at high levels in Academic, Graphic & Creative Arts, Ludi, and Olympika competitions. Finally, although registration is now closed for the conference, a good cohort of Ohio Latin teachers are presenting at the American Classical League Institute at the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia this June.
