TABCAT Columbus Cultural Gala CSCTFL2013The past Central States conference was enjoyable as we were able to host TABCAT- Columbus  a Capoeira group associated with OSU.  They  performed for our cultural gala Friday night, March 15th, 2013.  We were honored that AATSP National President Laura Zinke was in attendance.  We had a nice array of Mediterranean hors d’oeuvres for a crowd of about 80 people.  Participants were able to learn basic movements, play instruments, and learn the history of Capoeira. We were able to utilize the presence of the National AATSP table in the vendor area to add 32 new members to the Buckeye Chapter.  Many members gave workshops and sessions. Thank you for your participation!  If you would like to learn more about Capoeira at OSU see the following links: http://www.ele-mental.org/capoeira/TABCAT/index.html
