AATF PicThe 2015 OFLA Conference was held in April at Kalahari Resort in northern Ohio.  What a fun, informative and relaxing conference!  It was a great opportunity to see old friends and make new French connections.  The breadth and scope of French workshops and seminars was top-notch, with local and regional teachers and professors sharing their expertise. Spring Meeting Held

The Ohio Chapter of the AATG held its spring meeting during the OFLA conference in Sandusky in April. We had a large turnout including several new faces, and lively discussion. The business meeting included discussion and approval of the amended constitution and bylaws, a process that started one year ago, with a major discussion of the changes at the fall business meeting.  You can look for the updated constitution on the chapter website (http://www.ohioaatg.com/). Welcoming a new officer!

AATSP Buckeye is pleased to introduce our new Executive Vice President/Treasurer Elizabeth Becker. Ms. Becker has been appointed by the executive board to fill the needed office. She first expressed interest in the continuation of AATSP Buckeye at our Annual Immersion weekend in October 2014. Since then, Ms. Becker has held a position as a middle school Spanish teacher at the Elida Local School District. She has presented at various conferences including at OFLA 2015 in Sandusky. AATSP Buckeye is happy to have Ms. Becker on the board and is excited for what the future holds for AATSP Buckeye. Continue reading
